Found a reference to a Canon FCF filter (false color filter) on the Yarc website. What is it??

The False Color Filter is used when converting raw images. It applies to the D30 - don't know about other Canon digicams. Apparently, incorrect colours can be produced under certain conditions; the use of the FCF during conversion ensures best possible image quality.
