Few pictures I took tonight of my daughter and granddaughter.
Would love comments, on how you think I did. Is it ok for a beginner?
Took these on manual setting with no flash just light from lamp,
are they little to bright? to much maybe you think do I need to darking the #1 photo a bit? I no I have some shadow effects from the lamp.

#1 and #3 are just great. Black and white works well and i think the light is very well achieved. Congratulations on them especialy #1. Superb work.
#2 is a pose that needs work and its just a question of taste i guess, but i think that these work just great in B/W but not so good in color. Makes me wanna see the other one you posted in B/W, should be amazing.

Thanks for the comments Yes, I my self love photo #1 I will have that one enlarge and put in frame. and loved #3 also. I'm like you #2 could use some work. But I'm proud of #1 I think that's the best photo I have ever gotten the whole time I had my G3. But thanks to you all cause I didn't no anything till I found this board. Didn't really even no how to use the manual setting on my G3 till you all helped me through it. I was always just a point-shoot person, camera... LOL  .

I too like the BW better. I am not very fond of the red background but that is a matter of taste. The color version seems a bit too bright and warm. How do you like this one?

sorry everybody I tired to put all the photos in one post it wouldn't let me.
how do I do that? I've seen that some of the others have them all in the one post.
when I did that it would only show up the first photo, then the others would be links. :? :?
