Question about the news feature (idea?)

I was just playing around with the news feature in 1.5b5. What I noticed is when you set the number of news items to show (in misc. settings) to a certain number, lets say 3, only the last 3 news items are shown.

Is there a way to add a link to the index page to show all news items in a seperate 'news archive' page?
