What size prints from 10D

What size prints can you guys get from your 10D. can you do 8X10, 11X14?

getting ready to order camera, was wondering what to expect?

With good lighting and a sharp picture I do very nice 20x30's.

I don't have a 10d, but on my d60 I have gone as high as 30x40 and it looked as good as medium format film. I did use Fred Miranda's up size plugin for photoshop to get the results, however. If you use one of the plugins for upsizing, you should not have any problem going big.

I have had 11x14 prints and they were flawless & I've seen larger than 20x30 prints with no error for casino advertisement done also. I do know that the photos was shot in RAW and a major printing company did the rest.

I just did a print from my Deskjet 1220c of a flower just a little under 13x19 with lots of light and shadow it turned out extremely well (I was really suprised). I shot the picture using Fine JPEG mode with all the default settings. There's a very slight hint of aliasing in a very dark gradient because I had to pump the contrast up using curves a little using Photoshop, but no one else but me has noticed it.

Today I receiver my prints back on 50x75cm ;D and the look AWESOME. I did use Genuine Fractals to scale up to 50x75 300dpi the result is perfect, no pixels and no staircasing.

Never tried bigger.

I have numerous A3 and 20 by 30 inch prints that were created from the images captured from my D60 and 10D. In each case, the results are excellent (from a purely technical standpoint, of course).

Thats amazing, I guess I am so new to the digital that I had no Idea. I was hoping to get good crisp 8X10's seems that will be no problem at all. I do understand that the lens is as important as anything.

That's Calypso, and they are located within a mile of my home. I just wish they could do a little more with their mini-gallery. I used to get all of my E-6 processing done there, but the price was too high and the quality was too low, so I quit them.

I just got back a 16x20 print from www.mpix.com. It looked awesome (through no fault of my own). Their service and reproduction quality are impressive. The packaging itself was bulletproof. Very professional service. I also heard rave review from many other, more serious photogs. If you try them, choose the metallic coating, its really nice.

I went as far as 16X20 using Genuine Fractals, but I think it's not a limit.
I use ezprints.com and also clubphoto.com
Prices are reasonable, quality are quite acceptable for me. Do not use Wallmart and all the other places like that, you will be disappointed (I was). Good luck.

I've got some outstanding 16x20" prints through PhotoCraft (pcraft.com) without any upsampling. For prints off thier Lightjet printer, they recommend to not do any upsampling no matter how large you are going. They say the hardware interpolation in the printer (~$150k) is superior to all software they've seen. I believe it from the results I've got.

thanks for the information. it sounds like the best bet then, despite how cool that interpolation action is ( i checked it out), is to find a photo lab that can do the job for you.

We have an HP1050C large format printer at work and I have printed straight from the 10D at A0 and the results are really mighty impressive!! Remember the larger the print the further away from it you tend to stand, a bit of pixelation is therefore not a problem.

I have just bought Extensis Smart Pixel for some printing at work and it improves things further still. In truth I think you can print at pretty well any size you want to.

You mean how does it compare to GF? I dont know, if it's better or worse, I newer went as large with GF as I tried with this Action- never needed to. Plus, this is free, Genuine Fractals is not. Let me do some comparison, I will try to post later.
