Hi all,

Firstly I should tell you all that I am a absolute novice when it comes to photography. I have had my Ixus v2 for 12 months now and i have used it maibly to take family snaps of my baby daughter. Every couple of months I chooose my favourite snaps and send them via my broadband connection to bonusprint. A couple of days later, I usually get a delivery from bonuis print and to my novice eye the pictures look fairly good.

I have just recieved the latest delivery from Bonusprint however and all of the pictures seem quite dark. The flash is working but I wonder if I might have changed a setting on the camera that has made the pics darker than normal?? Help and advice needed!!

I also find that the Ixus seems to have a long delay time to acrually take a photo, making action shots a bit of a lottery. Is there any way of speeding this up??

Your experienced advice will be greatly appreciated.

Also looking to buy an inexpensive inkjet printer for both photos and text printing, I have been told that the HP Deskjet 5550 is a good allrounder. Has anyone any experience of this model?

don't you review your images before sending them to have prints made? you should easily be able to tell if they are over/under exposed before having prints made. Are you using auto or manual mode for taking pics?

I have a Canon S820 printer that I got really cheap and it works great for printing 4x6's and even 8x10's.

hope this helps...
