Just wondering anyone tried shooting a regular picture in 200-300mm with the Macro switched on? Does it differ from the regular mode?
Hmm... something to try out this weekend. heh

It just makes it focus closer. Also, I'm pretty sure you can only switch the switch when it's focused as close as possible. In any case, it doesn't change the focusing mechanism. It just acts as a limiter.

No difference. All the switch does is allow the focus ring to turn further for closer focusing..
