I have a 10D and am looking to get the BG-ED battery grip. I'm seeing prices all over the place. How much are you guys getting them for (and from where)?

Hi!
Let's see here, I ordered mine in March, 03 and then it cost about $180 from Ritzcamera. BTW, they tried to get me into a Nikon, and I said no flippin way! I was asked why, and I replied that I had Canon lenses and got what I now call the BT "OH!"
For the ones that have had to deal with them, this is a good laugh; for those who have never had the distinct pleasure (more like lack thereof) of dealing with BT (British Telecom), the Holy Grail of God awful customer relations, was enquiring about a fault (problem). I rang them from my neighbour's place as the phone number you call is freephone and was hoping to sort it. Anyway. after holding the line for what seemed like forever, and dealing with an automated system. (Which my blood was boiling over already. Sidebar: Anyone ever try to ring Sky? Yah, you would know it if you have!) Then finally got a person. The Gods have smiled on me! Wooo--hoo, a real human being that you can talk to! Ok, so I explained the problem and that we had a hell of a windstorm, clocked at 130+ MPH the previous night. They first asked me if the phone I had was BT. I said that it was and The BT rep says, "OH!" That was the BT "OH!" and that they said that they couldn't help me over the phone. You know why? The reason was that if I didn't they would say that the problem was that I didn't have the BT phone and that was causing the problem which is bollocks! They would have proceded to sell me the BT phone. Not this time, and I am not that daft. Oh, the fun of being over here. Don't get me wrong, though I really like it outside these stunningly not so pictoresque fens of Cambridgeshire. I have the Cotswolds, Yorkshire, and Warwickshire to compare them with and IMHO, the fens can't compete.

I think between $170-180.00 seems to be the going rate.
