I took these shots in August, when I was out with Wayne (Liv2trip) during a heavy rain. I believe that the first is a Semi-palmated Sandpiper but I could be wrong. The second is a Lesser (or Greater?) Yellowlegs. It's a bit hard to tell from this angle.

Nice shots Stephen... if I can sugest anything here..
- first photo fix the eye of the bird and warm up the image a bit
- second photo rotate the image so that the water isnt flowing to the left lol you can tell that by the water drop :)
Other then that great shots.

Nice set Stephen. The eye in the first is a quick fix.

Thanks Tom. I'll try your advice on both the shots and repost below the originals when I get some time. I'm not sure what change you're looking for in the eye of the first bird but the second is definitely at an odd angle.
Thanks also to Gary, Paul and Ted.

Love the second one. I never figured out what you said was wrong with the first one's eye. Looked good to me...
