Shooting at the beach

So what tips can you all offer for shooting at the beach during the hours of 10-5? I will have a CPL on, but if I am going to shoot people, do I have to take the CPL off?

I've never noticed a problem with tone or color on people in shot's that I've a used CPL on for the water or sky in the back ground.

If you bring a gear bag with you, watch the sand.

I got tons of sand everywhere. Cleaned out my bag, and I still have sand that crops up in inopportune places. Even if you're vigilant about sand, it'll sneak in.
