Hi fellow photographers just found this site and thought it looked to be a good way to gain some more knowledge as well as see what others are shootin'.

are you referring to the equipment i use? if so it's mainly my eos 3, 20d, 70-200 2.8L is usm, 100 2.8, 10-22 efs lens, and 17-85 efs.
that shot was done with special mounts.

sorry, no shots of the mounts in action. i would take a photo of it for you but that equipment is back at home in hawaii.

Great pic, and stunning MK3, I saw a load when I was in Santa Barbara last year, I've just sold my mk4!
Just looked again and seen the Brooks Institute section, do you attend there? I applied from the UK earlier this year for the 3 year course but it would have cost me near to $150,000 to do it!, I passed on that idea for now. Is it really that good there?

i love it here. well worth your money if you're plannin' on makin' it your main form of income.
the amount of knowledge you gain in the first 4 classes is priceless.

They told me it was more focused on film photography, is that true? or is is both film and digital now?

there is pro-photography and photo journalism.
the professional photography program teaches you film first then you get into digital. but beginnin' of next year april or earlier they're goin' to get rid of the film side and go all digital. honestly i would want to have the background of knowing film because alot of high end companies request film photographers plus you'll be well prepared in all aspects of the medium.

the drift pans on your flickr are very well done, did you use the IS on those?

hehehe...i might get my name changed to Rusty Venture. >_<
no IS on the pannin' shots. just using my trusty mono-pod/beatin' stick/pointer stick/fishing pole.
