AF 420EX bug

hi,
the autofocus helplight (redlight from the 420EX)
doesn't function with the G1/G2. I appeal to all G1/G2 freaks - take a look at site http://www.rkornberger.de/speedlite/
so we can take Canon on fire.
The 420EX was expensive enough!

This explains this weekend's focus follies that I experienced. Unfortunate. Maybe it is time for me to jump to a D60 after all.

The 420EX works completely well eith the D60 (or D30), right?

yes you're absolutly right. The AF helplight has only
prob's with G1/G2 & Pro90is.
