Same situation here, i like them both but dislike them both. Opinions are extremely apreciated.

Warman,

The moon is washed out in the first one and the second photo is too dark, although the moon looks eerie and adds to the photo. Why don't you darken the sky just a bit, then grab the moon as a separate selection and take it to the same tone you did in the second shot. Perhaps you'll like the results without the hate factor.

I like th etop one,. but I think you need to crop the image to take the power lines out of it .. only trouble is then you loose the hills in the background which add a bit,.. ???

hmmm...

Maybe next time try to isolate the the what you are shooting from distractions like the power lines...?

I agree with others the power lines are a complete distraction. I can hardly imagine a "scenic" photograph having power lines in it where the power lines would be anything but a negative.

Amazing the details that you just dont notice until someone points to them. The power lines are truly bad in the shot and maybe thats why i like the underexposed version, they show less.
