Hi!

Having jut bought breezebrowser, I am now a RAW convert! I just need a bit of advice on workflow.

Do any of you change the standard DPI when converting to TIFF/JPEG?

Do you save you final file as a TIFF or as a JPEG? Whenever I take my memory card into the shop (Jessops) and use their DIY machines to order my prints, it always takes AGES to download them off the card, although they were only 4MB or so files. If I took in 18MB TIFF files, they would surely take a lifetime!! What do you guys do?

Cheers!
Tom

If I'm converting outside of Photoshop CS, I first convert the RAW to TIFF. I'll then edit the TIFF file and, when done, resize the image for whatever size I want to print (usually 4x6 at 300 dpi). I'll then save the resized file as JPEG with 10% or so compression and burn to CD to take out for printing. Files load almost instaneously, even when I have over 100 pics to print.
