I'm sorry, I don't mean to offend you but... I was hoping to see something 'artistic'. These are snapshots... Just normal pictures. Sure they're cute and super clear, it's just... I don't know. There's no 'pop' to them...
These kinds of pictures flood Flickr and make it hard to find artsy photos...

A lot of people post snapshots...I think there are a lot of great qualities in these pictures...sharpness, vibrant colors, the light is good and pretty good composition.
Its nice to see a snapshot once and a while.

I enjoy seeing "snapshots". Anyone can just SNAP a picture but that doesnt mean that its going to be in focus or that the lighting will be good etc. These "snapshots" are very nice and they are great photos! thanks for sharing! Pictures dont always have to be posed.

Thanks for the kind words. These are snapshots... #1 is really the reason I posted these, I got a nice laugh out of that one :)

The only one I like is #3 and I love that one. It is a portrait, and not a snapshot, if treated correctly. I re-worked it & think it will give you insight into how images can be finished.

Good shots. Numbers 2 (with cropping as you said) and 3 are excellent.

Thanks all for your comments.
Craig, in your example of finishing image 3, did you smudge the background manually in PP?

you might want to seek permission as the image editing flag isn't set...

Now you are going over my head :) What does that mean?

Very nice! I don't have a problem with snapshots! This is a Photography forum, your have photographs to post, and you did so in the "people" section!
I agree with:

Nice captures on 1 and 3 (my favorites)

Deniska..they were simply stating that you dont have your "Image Editing Ok" sign up on your profile. Therefore..technically noone is suppose to edit your image and then repost it. If you would like for people to be able to do this...you might want to go back in and put it up.
