Battlefield -- Need Critique Please

Hi All!

I took a number of shots at the Borodino battlefield in Russia, and am not sure if I'm on the right track on pp. Does this look reasonable for a "record pic?"

Hi and welcome to POTN!!

I can't see too much that says "battlefield" to me in that shot, but maybe a BW conversion would help that. It also seems to be a bit of a small battle field (I can't imagine tanks would take that long to get across it). Have you any more shots that would create a context?

Fairly good PP work on that particular shot though.

The photos are meant to show views of (and from) various parts of the field for miniatures gamers primarily, so the composition is, as you rightly point out, something less than martial. :-)

I was very unsure about the post work, but I'll continue with it now.
