Sorry if this seems like a silly question but I admit I need to ask...
When looking at the EXIF data on the computer, is there a way for me to tell what setting I had the FEC set at on the flash? I was doing some test shots tonight with my 580EX and I used the FEC setting on the flash quite a bit. Now how can I go back and tell what I did or am I going to have to try and remember? I didn't have a pen and paper with me so I couldn't write it down or I would have.
Thanks!

It might depend on what software you're using. I know the FEC is part of the image info on Canon's DPP.

I just checked the info in DPP but I didn't see it. I says I used flash and it has a place for exposure compensation but not FEC. Am I looking in the right place?

Sorry but your first post does sound like talking about FEC :)
If you were using M mode, DPP won't show EC.

Sorry. You're right, DPP doesn't show FEC. But the EOS Viewer Utility does.

Are you talking about the File Viewer Utility or the EOS Utility? I really haven't used either of these before. The File Viewer Utility came with my 300D but doesn't seem to recognize 30D RAW files. And the EOS Utility came with my 30D and it looks like that is only used to dowload files from the camera?
Thanks

The EOS Utility. I haven't used these programs a lot, so I can't elaborate much on their respective capabilities.
