Beautiful composition and subject. Two things I would change. Clone or crop out the two distracting leaves at the top. And there seems to be a lot of detail lost in compression.

The point of focus seems to be the far edge of the pond/puddle leaving the foreground, which appears to be the subject, out of focus. An ok snapshot. Something to learn from.

Agree with Hellashot's comment. A closeup shot of the leaves would have been awsemone, nice colors.

There is... there's so much stuff in the picture that I had to apply an unbelievable amount of compression to get under 100k.

You're right. There's no clear subject. I took the pic because of the light and stretching shadows. That's probably my problem. I tried to put too much in the same pic.

I did a few closeup shots on leaves but didn't want to post those since it's been done 100 times... :)

Hellashot you were right! It was a mistake to go with such a narrow depth of field since my subject is not clear (leaves, tree, puddle). The first image was shot at f5. This one was shot at f18. Better? (still too much compression, I know...)
