I take waaay too many photo's and do very little with them, i'd like to take this one and work on it in PS, any suggestions on what i could do with it?
the only things i'm noticing is the left tyre is slightly out of focus, it could be made a bit squarer and straighter and possibly do something with the wheel on the far left and the hand.
Thanks in advance
Chris

I know next to nothing about RC cars, but I can see two things in your image that could be improved upon, photographically--
1) the left hand margin has some distracting material that could be cropped out.
2) Something needs to be included in the image to give it "scale". In other words, something from which you can clearly tell the actual size of the subject car.

I like it... could you give us a few of it on a track, or hangin some corners?
Some action would be great... like a fishtail on a dirt track, or a powerslide??
Great job.
Those things go pretty fast... do some panning, see how that comes out...

Chris, try some dodging and burning on the car to bring out some contrast. The person on the left side with their controller and car, if that is what it is, is distracting as it does not "balance" the picture. You could try and work a path around the car and place it on another layer. Then use the clone tool to even out the background. I guess you have a small fuel driven versus battery engine which is where the blue haze on the right is from? Try and omit this next time when taking the shot, not easy to remove this in PS
Next time. Try some panning shots of the cars in motion.

I race over here in the states. I do try to shoot sometimes between rounds but it's tough to squeeze in at some fast-paced events. Not to criticize your choice too heavily, as you may have your reasons for wanting to work with that shot, but given the kinds of shots RC cars can offer I would opt for something more action-oriented to begin with myself.
I know that some of my shots are far from perfect, as I'm certainly not a pro, but here's a few of my favorites so far that help illustrate this.

I've got a Savage X which is having a new motor and clutch installed with some other goodies. I want to take action shots once its done. But I can't drive and shoot at the same time.
These things are damn fun.

Thanks to the guys who gave an opinion on this picture, when i've had a play in photoshop i'll post what i've done to it
thanks also to the other people who suggested 'alternative' shots, part of the appeal to this picture for me was it was a single still shot in about 4000 action shots.
fyi to the person who commented about smoke, the smoke comes from it's ic engine, personally i feel this adds to the shot, but that could be because i'm used to these models
Thanks again guys.
