The Kookaburra was actually through the 1" square cage mesh and I was bobbing and weaving to make sure the eye was in the middle of the mesh. Even still I'm happy with how it turned out. The second one is probably a breading pair of the Burdekin Ducks. With No3 I was able to make the front mesh vanish but couldn't make the rear cage mesh disappear - kinda spoils the shot I think.

Well, the mesh didn't hurt the image quality much. Still came out very good. Nice colorful birds too. :)

Greg,

Shot number 2 is exactly the image I had in my minds eye when we were there.
Good capture.

These are photographed very well Greg, you have nailed good focus on each of the birds showing up excellent detail and colour in the shots. The close-up shot of the Kookaburra shows nice detail in the eye. The whistling duck is my favourite, well done.

thanks Anthony. I had to do a HUGE clone job on the log the whistling duck was on - that duck needs its diet checked as the log was covered in bird s**t. :D

In that case Greg I would give 100% for the last shot.
