Great idea. I want to find some leaves like this to shoot :-)

The light lilac one in the middle throughs the composition out and the expanse of grass in the bottom right doesn't seem to balance the shot. It is a little dark and lacks contrast as well.

Could you have moved the leaves around yourself and fill the frame with comparable contrasts? Bringing out the reds in the leaves with some saturation and burning in PS, lightness and dodging to give you true blacks would help.

I can't wait for fall to kick in properly, will be looking out for some red leaves!

Ah, no I didn't :oops: Knowing this, it's a great shot to capture the leaves like that through the water :)
