Has anyone done business with Digital Liquidators?
They quote prices in the Feb. issue of Pop.Photo that are much lower than the other ads.

I'm wanting to get a DSLR and retire my EOS 1v. I was ready to pull the trigger and finally order the 1D, now I'll wait for its replacement.

A friend of mine did business with them and thought that they were fair and balanced... about as fair and balanced as Atilla the Hun with a hangover.

If you check the ads in Popular Photo under Broadway Photo you will notice that they seem to reside at the same address. Its a different phone number, but the same building in Brooklyn. When I was at Adorama last week I inquired and they said that they are only mail order. No store front. They did not even what to talk about matching a price on a Canon Lense.

BUYER BEWARE!!! The prices sound real good but there is a catch!! I placed an order from them when I got my DRebel... it was $735 with the 18-55. WOW what a deal.. year right!! They send me an e-mail to confirm my order, I call, he tries to sell me a charger, battery, strap and I tell him that all comes with the camera.... he says "that all comes with the commercial one, it's $999, this price is just for the body and lens" Needless to say I cancelled my order, ended up finding it for close to the same price....

Just make sure you ask a lot of questions before you order!!!

Usually, if the prices are too good to be true then there's going to be a catch...Sure the camera is cheap, but they'll try and sell you stuff that Canon intended to be sold as part of the OEM bundle... for an arm and a leg. Or, they force you to buy their "Executive Kit," whatever the heck that means
