Has anyone seen this before?
Today I tried to set up and use the Auto Exposure Bracketing feature of my 1Ds and the camera started to give me Purple, underexposed, unuseable images. I have tried everything I could think of to reset the camera, but nothing works. I pulled the battery, changed CF cards, lenses, reset factory defaults....nothing has worked.
Any suggestions as to what I could have done wrong and how I might fix it?
Thanks in advance,
Brian

I do not beleive there is any "user error" going here,. no quick fix.
As Mebow says,. Call Canon :(

Obviously the problem here is user error! I guess you guys have forgotten that the 1Ds is a mixture of technology and hope for the future of all mankind. The perfect machine that will one day end all of our ills. Just imagine a world without war, hunger and disease! A world where humans are cared for and guided by the omnipotent 1Ds. No my friends, to even suggest that the problem could be with this camera borders on heracy! (spelling?) Just keep taking your purple pictures and thank the maker of the 1Ds that you have been blessed with owning one.
Anyway, I called Canon Tech support regarding your problem and that's what they told me. ;-)

Did you pull the button battery? You will find it in the 'roof' of the main battery compartment. You will have to start from scratch with all your settings however.

Thanks everyone,
I sent the camera off to the Irvine Factory Service Center yesterday. What a weird feeling, something like sending a kid of to college.
