I finally ordered CS2 using the Canon bundled PS Elements promotion and eagerly watched the DHL tracking in anticipation of its arrival on the given date. The date came and went so I called DHL and they said, "It's lost, we have no idea where it is, but we'll put a trace on it". They suggested calling Adobe to report it amiss. Has anyone called Adobe lately and if so what's the usual wait before a live person comes on? I called a couple of times and each time was close to 20 minutes of uninspiring elevator music. Is this typical for Adobes customer service? They claimed it was due to a new product coming out that they've been swamped with calls.
Adobe is sending another CS2 out to replace the lost one (via DHL again:( ) and that hopefully will arrive tomorrow :D . Other than the long phone wait, Adobe (customer rep Joe) did take care of getting things straightened out quickly.
