Astronomy photography with S30?

I'm curious to see if anyone has tried to hook an S30 up to a telescope for taking pictures of stellar object.

Yes. I use the A20 on a TeleVue Refractor Telescope with a 40 mm eyepiece. Several companies make adapters to mate the Canon digital line with a 1.25 telescope or spotting scope eyepiece.

I use a Scoptronix brand.
