This machine holds daily snapshots of selected folders on my main computer and goes back one year. So I can retrieve a picture from... say, April 22, 2006 the day before I edited it and screwed up and overwrote the original...
It's also offsite in case my studio burns down in flames.
So yeah, THREE copies of all paid work. Your house burning down is still not a good enough excuse to deliver a brides wedding photos! :eek:

Actually from what I've read the Intel quad cores (at least the first models) are all just two Core2 Duos on a single die. The AMD version will be actual quad cores. There are performance differences between the two set ups.
Same comment here though, where did you get a quad core? Those aren't on the shelves yet. Or are you referring to a multi socket platform?
I mean I know you (Dante) have every damn lens there is (and a nice restaurant apparently) but quad core processors? Do you have a friend up the road at Intel?

Yeah but back then computers cost way more money. I'd already sold one kidney to get one with a soundcard, couldn't afford a better processor too. :) You are probably right about the ram speed, the PC-33 thing was a stab on the dark to just make the point it was slow. Maybe though if I'd overclocked it.....
