The City Beautiful ?

My first "real" post here - the motto for the City of Orlando (FL) is "The City Beautiful" and while out on one of my photo sojurns caught this image - the irony was not wasted. More to Orlando - sometimes tragically - than Disney, Universal and Sea World. Appreciate any C&C or feedback -- thanks in advance -- Happy Snapping!! Tim

Nice capture Tim but either you sharpened it too much or the compression to web is showing artifacts. Caught her on Orange ave right? I was by lake Eola one day and seen something similar with a guy but when he saw my cam I got the look of death so I didn't take the shot.

Keiffer - Yes, right on Orange Avenue in front of Tabu nightclub (which adds to the irony even more) - I may have oversharpened I am still new at this and what looks good to me may not be quite right -- I also tend to tighten screws until they snap!! -- altho the web compression might be it and makes me feel better!! -- Yes, some downright nasty looks when it comes to this kind of snap but it may be a type of photo I like - Urban Narrative - especially in Orlando -- so I may just brave it. Decided I needed some more reach so I went out and got a EF70-200mm F4L IS USM today - hope to get some pictures over the weekend. Ever get downtown and need a "wingman" let me know. Snap Safe!! Congrats Tim on the choice of lens. The 70-200 F/4 is my fav being that I don't do too many low light shots. And I commend you on standing your ground and going after that Urban Narrative type of shooting. I guess I need to grow my balls back and give it a shot LOL. I'll keep you in mind for the wingman position :-) Ok your the only other cannidate right now LOL I've since relocated to Kissimme but I will probably go back downtown sometime next week.
