You have been working hard to create a LS atn that will work to satisfy the majority. Some like one version better than the other etc. I'm wondering if the differences being reported has to do with the software and settings used to convert the raw file to linear. Maybe a poll to findout who is using what and settings etc might be of help to you. :)

I use BreezeBrowser with the "false colour filter" enabled.

I test with Canon's own conversion (or more accurately conversions which use Canon dll's only) with basic settings (auto/custom, normal, normal, normal). For example Bibble has sometimes so odd output that it's not possible to use it as reference.

Doesn't Chris use Canon dll's too?

For testing, I also use a very big 'sheet' which consists of ca. 40 linear photos combined in one canvas with Corel Photopaint 9 (Photoshop does not allow pasting in linear mode) as a visual reference - color material which I know from real life.

With 342 I used real Kodak Q60 target as visual reference, with Canon conversion on screen as a side help.

I get much better, realistic, results with this latest version, like

I was much looking forward to trying Liner=arSharpen after reading so much about it and finally figuring out that I needed to put it in the actions area of PS. I was disappointed to see it is not compatible with PS5.5. Is there somewhere one can view the action and copy it with thought of entering the steps in PS5.5?
