24 x 30 10D print

Where can I get a 24x30 print from my 10D, can this be done without losing quality? I've done 11x14 at Costco, but that's about it.

Try Ritz Camera. I've had some nice 20x30's done there. Also, at least in Phoenix, there's a Sam' Club that does the same good work.

Maybe I'm spoilt. The Brooks Institute of Photography is located close-by in Santa Barbara and we have an absolutely stunning array of exceedingly professional shops.

I'm thinking the size print you want is going to be expensive and it might behoove you to check your local shops' capabilities and prices.

I know for sure thar you can get 12x18 prints from costco. it's not on their list, you just have to ask the technician. it's quite possible that they offer other large sizes too. Did you try to ask them?

I found out Costco online does 16x20 for $13.49.
I will let you know how that turns out. I am still looking for my 24x30 printer. Thanks for trying. I do appreciate it.

as far as I remember, costco online is actually some kodak printing services. it's not the same as their in store labs. am I correct?

16x20 photo was poor quality. Don't waste your money. Wallets were OK.

I believe so.

I just got back some 10x12s that I had printed at our local Costco. I am very happy with the print quality. What I am not happy about is that I set the image dimensions to 8x10. Needless to say some side cropping occurred. In one image is doesn't matter but it does for the other one. Ahhh well, it was a cheap lesson to learn. $2 for a 10x12 at Costco! TWO DOLLARS! At that price I can take all sorts of silly pictures for my daughter's room. Frame prices are another matter. :shock:

I'm sorry to hear that. I was at my local pro imaging place (Armstrong Imaging, Santa Barbara) when someone was picking up a mounted print that was about 2' tall and 4' wide and it was GLORIOUS. They too had a 10D and they said they did little post-processing (USM and a spot burn or two).

damn you know it occurs to me that I didn't ask what file format they gave to Armstrong.

I just had am 18x24 print from http://www.jumbogiant.com and was totally amazed.
The file was about 900k from mt 10D and I was skeptical about the quality of the finished prinf.
I noticed no pixelation and it was great.
Totally happy

I will check out the jumbo giant and also a member named Bunk House has a print shop in Oregon. I will find out my options and see how far my search goes. I am in Las Vegas, so if you know any printers here, please let me know. My camera shop told me Longs or Color Reflections, something like that. Longs? Really?
