Hi,
I recently dropped my practically new IXY800IS and although the camera still seems to function the only drawback I've noticed is that the mode selector wheel no longer clicks into each mode (turns smoothly)
Is this a major repair, or something that I can do? Reason being it was bought overseas, and I am now in Toronto, Canada. I haven't had any experience with Canon's repair service, (My last digicam was a Nikon that died after 4 months of use and Nikon determined that it was unrepairable... which is why I have a Canon now :) )
Can anyone provide some assistance (what does the wheel look like) or what would such a repair cost me?
Thanks!
