Has anyone seen a side-by-side feature/specs of the D60 and D100. I was thinking about doing this myself, but figured I check to see if the is already published anywhere.

Thanks.

P.S. - Please, no one get angry because I spoke the "N" word in this forum.

Side by side is good.

Canon is better on these...

Flash X 200th NIKON's 180th

Canon 6.3 Nikon 6.0

Canon makes the senor Panasonic or Sony makes the nikons

Canon can use any ex flash, 220ex, 380ex, 420ex, 550ex NIKON only SB50dx, SB80DX (new) the SB28dx is on it's way out. SO there's only two to get.

Is the nikon flash going to be so cheap like the N80 it's built off of? The canon will have the electronic pop up, not spring, bouncy, banging CRAP!

Canon 8 frame burst, nikon 7

Canon remote control can plug right in, on Nikon you have to buy the grip. And like the N80, that doesn't even give you shutter, or any contorls at all. I'm sure this on will, because the ELAN 7 (my film backup) does have a full featured grip for only $60.

Canon can download right to harddive, nikon can't.

Canon 16mb CF VERY LITTLE! ONLY 2 RAW FILES! and 6 jpg!!!! but nikon... NOTHING!!!

my d60 is on order

Must be that "soft & fuzzy" is in and "sharp as a tack" is out!
What do the French say: "Chacun a sont gout".

Just opened in Photoshop the house files at the bottom of http://www.digitalcamera.jp/report/D100-020508/ in photoshop and looked at them at 300%. There is a noise pattern in the D100 sky not present in the D1x and D60 images. The window shutter hinges and closings hold a bit more detail in the D60 files than on both Nikons. It might seem small but such detail can translate into a visible difference when upsampling larger than 8"x 12".

Since this D100 is still a non production unit, tested with unknown lens or camera parameters, no conclusions can be derivd from this test. I was surprised by how close the D100 gets to the D1x performance. The D100 seems to improve the D60 on low light high ISO performance thought.

...... And you base your findings on. Have you actutally tested the cameras side by side? with which lenses? Tamron plastic on the D60, 80-100 VR on the Nikon LOL!

Last I heard there are NO production D100 available. Please I know this is a forum but lets stick to facts and figures. If you love Nikon than the D100 is your cup of tea, and visa versa if Canon is in your bag.
