You will have to have modern stuff on your pc to view it but the new Garth Brooks website is amazing.
You have got to checkout his photo gallery.
I sure wish I had his money to spend on my website.

cool! Garth brooks is da bomb. I hate country music (I live in canada country central) but he's amazing. The photo gallery interface is neat but a little klunky to use....
I love the intro though... I usually hate intros.

I didn't think it was clunky at all..but I do have a pretty fast connection.
I sent the company that designed it an email, I'm curious how much they would charge to add that gallery to an existing website.

Slick looking but awkward to use and images are awful quality. All the the Flash techniques involved are well known and not rocket science but take a while to code up ... and they are a pain to update with new images, etc., ... you won't see anything recent in there for a year or so.

I just noticed if you double click on the image it will get large, you will then need to double click to make it small again. If there is any "awkwardness" to it I think it is because they put more images than needed in each gallery. If there were about 25% less images it would look and work better, IMO.
I don't think you will see anything new because there is nothing new to add with Garth not touring.
With respect to the quality of the images some of the studio stuff is top notch, some of the "live" shots are pretty good considering they probably were taken 10 years ago. I would also add that most of the shots they want to put up to show performance is more about the "grand size" of the show instead of the closeups we tend to shoot.
I'd sure like to see a better quality from a current muscian........and heck he is retired and has that kind of site.

I hope you noticed you could drag the images around and they stay ... ActionScript in action! :-):D
