I used it before. I actually loved it. My only issues with it were the way it displayed photos that were supposed to be rotated. If i would rotate them in the program, it wouldn't rotate them on my computer, so on and so forth.

I use it on a daily basis to keyword and sort absolutely everything. I love it, and cannot possibly do without it. As a sports photog, it is super handy. I categorize by event location, event name, rider name, sponsors. That way i can search by any criteria independently or in combination, depending on the client that comes calling. It is VERY fast. I can go from dumping in 2000 shots to weeding out the non keepers and tagging the keepers in seconds, instead of minutes like C1 or aperture etc.
I can then select the ones i want, and get it to pull the raw files from whereever they are stored, and copy them to a new folder on my desktop that i can process and output in C1. Extremely handy.
It is very well done, easy to use, easy to learn and very stable. You can also categorize things in various DBs, and then combine databses and it retains keywords etc. I normally DB each event seperately on the road on my powerbook, and then combine them into my main DB when I get home to the office. My yearly cycling catalog is well over 16 000 photos and it doesn't miss a beat.

I don't use but I tried it. Personally I use Photo Mechanic, but I heard so many good things about iView that I went and try it. I didn't like it on the end, but that has probably a lot to do with me being used to PM and not to iView. But since so many people who are working day in and day out with it, are happy users, I'm sure you can't go wrong with it.
PS: I tried to compare only features of iView that are comparable to Photo Mechanic. This means cataloging wasn't really something what I tried to compare. So mostly it was about photo preview, selection, tagging, IPTC of course, and on the end sending photos over ftp. These are basically features I use every day, so this was all I was interested in that trial.

If you're a PC user, take a look at iMatch - it's also superb.

I use it all the time. It's part of my standard workflow to assign keywords, copyrights and to catalog my files.
