Anyone here that does fashion photography of models with the EOS 10D?
Do you have a link to show me some of your photos.

I want to determine what the camera plus different lenses can do.

Thanks
Henk

There is a site called www.photosig.com that has many galleries, available for viewing and you can search by camera model, subject etc...

But, I can tell you right now....You will be impressed. The D30/D60's are capable of very high quality portrait work....The 10D is just a tad better than those...Of course, that depending on the quality of the human interface module...

With my mixed results over the past couple of years you can check out my site, most are model shots.

All portfolio folders say when I shot the model and with what in the upper left hand corner and then some babbling on the bottom about the shoot.

Hi Henk,

I use the Canon D60 for model photography.

My model/glamour web site is www.glamourbyjim.com

Thanks for asking,

Jim

Hi here are some that were shot with the D60.

The BG were comped in photoshop. All images had white BG's. I was wondering what lens you use. I used a 28-105 USM lens on these. I am think of getting the EF 70-200 f/4L though as the other lens was borrowed. What is the standard lens for 3/4 body shots?

Hi Ruby.
Generally, an 85mm lens is the most flattering for photographing people. The lens you mentioned is also fine. The 70 - 200 is a great lens - I have one and use it for outside model shoots - great for blowing out the background. It tends not to work out well in the studio, you have to be so far away.
By the way, your images that you posted are very good and show a lot of creativity.

Thanks for sharing them.

Jim

I've just finished a course about portrait and model photography. I used my 10D most of the time. The PC connector on the 10D was useful for connection the studio flashes to.
