When I first had my website done I was only having portraits in mind so I kept it clean and simple and easy to navigate.
In the past year things turned a bit and now 95% of my business is wedding photography, so I felt I needed to adjust my website a bit to bring a better feeling over for the wedding pics.
I asked my designer to keep the site the way it is but add a slide to the main photo page and keep up the music when people check out my portfolio folders.
Take a look and tell me what you think!
Thanks!!

you really think so? hmm.. I wanted to go with a classical light music to not come on too strong ... do you others find the music to boring too?

Hey,
Nice site and some very nice photos! Personally, I don't like music on any website and I think in this case it doesn't add anything. You have lots of lovely images that speak for themselves!
A reason against having the music is that it starts again averytime you change galleries. If I were a potential customer I would want to browse through all of your galleries to see past work (not just the wedding gallery for instance). Hearing the first few bars of Pachabel's Canon over and over may be a little distracting...
However that's just my view, others may love it!! Personal choice when it comes down to it.

Thanks for all the insights.. its so interesting to see the different tastes.
That the music will start playing again int he galleries was actually my wish and the designer enabled that, because I feel that pictures just bring out even more emotion with music. However one thing that I need to add, that I realize now, is a option to disable the music, for those that dont want to listen to it!

Perfect. You can't please everyone all of the time, but you can have a damn good go!

The only thing I would change is on the Pricing page. Currently the prices are showing up to the far right and a little below each package description. I think it would be easier to read and understand if the price was next to the package (i.e. Package 3: $1000.00) and then the description the same way you have it now. I'm using Windows XP and Firefox. Great work on the rest of the site.

I browse through 3G on my cellphone and it loads very slow, that's my only problem having to wait forever for the pics to load, gave up after two clicks...
Now remember that although mine loads slower than DSL, I'm used to my speed, it loads slower than most sites I visit.
Looks great, and I don't have the sound plug-in for Mozilla, so didn't hear the music..

Agree with the pricing info. The prices for the packages are right justified and show up below the packages. It would have a better flow if the pricing were next to or directly below the package title.
Also, I didn't see any wedding images on the home page....????
Edit: Sorry, I thought the wedding picture would be on the home page, not the "Photos" page.

I will change the pricing info
Yeah I wanted to keep the Homepage clean and simple so all images are in the "photo" folder, if someone wants to see images, that will be the first link they click on

Jenni,
I like the overall look of it. I also have the buttons sliding off the bottom. I use quick links and tabbed browsing in Firefox. With the proliferation of toolbars and such, it's probably a good idea to assume the vertical size is shrunk on many browsers.
I don't dislike the music selection, but a different recording could yield a more elegant impression. The slideshow is nicely done and highlights some of your best work that I've seen here and on your site. I've seen some sites that have a simple speaker graphic that mutes the audioif pressed. May be a little less imposing. I'd also use different music for the other galleries.
