I did a little experimenting (for me that is...you pros are probably saying this is old hat stuff) and I came up with a few variations on a series of shots. Can I get some feedback on what you guys think of these pictures. They are definitely heavy on the cheese, but hey ;) ..that's what a wedding is about no?

I do like the concept. However, the image appears slanted, which distracts my eye, and I would have probably made the shot a bit wider. JMHO...

Otherwise, I like the shot, and the idea. I like the selective color one best.

Im just a beginer with everything, so dont weigh to much on what I think. I LIKE the idea and the series of shots; however, I dont like that he had his hands in his pockets throughout the whole thing. Even when he comes to stand in front of his bride, his body language to me seems closed. The last shot to me would be AWESOME if he would have only reached out with his left hand and ever so lightly held her right hand under the flowers.....kind of a...Coming together....you know the ol....we were once apart, now one united.

but i do like that last one!

haha...teejay...good stuff.

Bill-after looking at it a while..I agree..it seems slightly tilted, but I think the blinds don't help either with it being uneven..I will see if I can correct a bit. I also wish I went a bit wider on the shots...would make it look better.

Rob- good points..I will make sure that next time I incorporate the hands to show some movement.

Dimitri - more than welcome to use the concept...just let me see your finished product! =)

I dont think its much out of wad to be honest, if you look at it with a grid on in CS2 and rotate it .6 of a degree clock wise the uprights between the window panes look just about spot on ... thats the way I do it anyway when I have one I need to align, if someone does it differently or has a better way please share, first to admit I am a CS newbie but doing my best to learn all the time.

p.s nice idea for a pic, I like it
