Epson R380 printing PSCS2

So I just got the Epson R380 on Monday, it is great. The pictures printed from a CFII card came out nice, and printing through the software came out great. I want better.

I printed a lot from PSCS2 on my Canon, one problem. No ICC profiles for the Epson R380 yet, not from epson, illford, or epson Austriala.

So my question is this. Printing from PS Print with Preview, what shpould my settings be. I am using Epson Premiume Paper Glossy right now.

PSCS2 Settings:
Color Mangagement: Document
Color Handinling: Printer Determens Colors
Rendering Intent: Perceptual

Under Printer Settings Properties:
ICM: On
4x6 selected
Best Quality
Premium Paper Glossy selected

Would this be the best settings if there are no ICC Profiles for now?

I'd try an R2400 or R4800 profile as they use the same inksets I believe.

Photoshop should handle colour management and ICM should be off. Make sure the paper type is correct.

Also is your monitor/printer calibrated? that may be the first port of call.

I have Pantone COlor PLus LCD Calibrator, basic entree leval monitor calabrator.
