Notice the girl was wearing sandals with her uniform? I'm not a military guy but that doesn't seem right. I also notice the dud had his flash pointed up at an angle.
Most of these are a little on the dark side. I don't know what would have caused that.

The thing that annoyed me most was the girl's overhand focus technique. You'd think the army would have taught her better than that!

Actually women are allowed to wear sandles during the summer, but obviously only if they arent combat soldiers :p

The army actually has alot of photographers - the good ones go to the military newpaper or the public relations offices.
The rest are stationed in bases to photgraph cerimonies and things like that - shes probably not a particularly good one ;)

Is that the Israeli Army? I was under the impression they were more squared away than that.

I know they are underexposed, I made a mistake... I'll PP it abit to make them lighter.

Wow, do they have it easy ! I was an Air Force Base Photographer from 1966 to 1970. I carried a Graphlex Speed Graphic, Loaded Film Holders, and either flash bulbs or wet cell flash. I always felt like a pack mule. We also had to develope the 4" X 5" sheet film and then print them.
