A couple of shots from the Indy 300 of the 2 Team Australia cars. Didnt they do well. Bad luck for Will Power.

you got some cool shots there. I really like the 2nd one. What lens are you using.

I guess you will be photographing the action when A1 comes to your neck of the woods

Hi nzl-g3user I was using a 400.2.8 with a 1.4 converter for this shot. There aren't to many shots around the circuit were you can realy one to used to good effect. The safety fencing and the limited spy holes really do limit perspective on street circuits. It was a great event though and hopefully I will be back next year.

The A1Gp Taupo. I will be there one way or the other

IMO next time use a slower shutter speed, something in between 1/125 and 1/250!

I dont think there would be any need to shoot a head on shot at that low a shutterspeed especially whith the speed these champ cars are travelling. The head on was taken at 1/320 with a 400 2.8 and a 1.4 converter and the 3/4 shot was at 1/250sec with a 70-200 2.8 at around 140mm. But in the very small fence windows and number of photographers there is very little room to pan. But thanks for your coments.
