This has been my 7th wedding of the year (and in total, lol). I am still learning, and looking back at some of my earlier weddings, reralsied I need to (for example) use OOF backgrounds more often, etc. These are not posted to show that of course. I want honest feedback like always, and please feel free to comment on anything at all. This was a fun wedding with a lovely bride. I got this booking cause the bride's mother enjoyed my mountain bike photographs from the time before I did any weddings, lol.

You were the 2nd shooter?

They're looking at someone else.

For first shot I asked them to look at somebody to my right. Tried on this shot for the not-so-direct approach. I have plenty where they look at me and at each other etc.

Hulle lyk pragtig, ek hou baie van die een waar sy op die trappe staan. Jy is ook gelukkig om so 'n mooi foto te kry van die borrels,

Ek dink 10 uit 10 vir die een.

(To the English ones - I just said I like them and why...)

Thnx Su - my wife also like the bubbles one and the one on the wooden steps of the bride alone. It was taken between heavy thunderstorms - meaning nice overcast conditions, crisp colours etc

Yup I heard that it was raining, luckily it didn't in Middelburg - can you believe I drove that far for this wedding? Hubby went to a wedding in JHB and it was raining there as well.

Nothing negative to say here! You have a great talent! Good composition, great B/W conversion (a bit more contract may help, but they still pass as they are!), good expressions, lovely couple!

I like the way that the B&G don't always look at you. My wife and I do take similar shots and only received positive feedback for these shots so far. While I take the formal look-at-me pictures, she places herself at an angle and takes other pictures from that angle. She also takes a few candids between the formals. The clients are loving it!

My favorite is the bubbles pictures. The bride's expression is priceless! :D
