This is one of several waterfalls in the Pisgah National Forest. The lighting was terrible, but this one was easy to get to.

Nice composition, John, although the water is somewhat blown out. What is the name of this one?

Stan, I think it was Looking Glass Falls. It's the first one past the ranger information center coming in from Brevard N.C. on highway 276.

Wow forrestt, I guess you are like a local expert. I hope I didn't intrude, and after seeing your gallery, I don't think you are in any danger of me outdoing you. You have some very nice work. It's beautiful country up there, and we had fun taking it all in.

Thanks for looking. We had some cool temps and bad lighting. Those are my excuses, and I'm sticking to them. :D

Greetings John, Thanks for the compliments. Hope you can come back soon. You wouldn't believe how many people are moving from Florida to North Carolina these days due to Florida hurricanes and our moderate climate. KC

The storms down here get to you after awhile. I am always telling my wife that I am tired of the hot, humid weather, and the storms. I have just a few years before I can retire. I just might see you then. ;)
