Very nice shot. Composition, focus and exposure are all good. I like it. Well done.

I don't usually like zoo photos but this one does it for me! I think the "pose" is great and captured at just the right time. I would try a tighter crop at the top and it's a pitty you clipped his toe nails. I wonder if a curves adjustment might bring out a bit more detail in the shadow areas. I like the depth of field and find the image draws me into the face of the animal...

Thanks for all of the comments. I will try the curve changes to bring out more.....

Still playing with Photoshop 7, upgraded from Elements, so curves is still in the learning curve ;)

I am encouraged to continue learning and getting better.
