I want to shoot some galler pictures tomorrow it's a halloween party but I need some help/advice...here is one I have done in the past.

The help I need is which lens would be best in this type of environment...there are around 200 poeple ..close tight quaters..
I also have a flash although i didn't use one here...should I use it bounce it off the ceiling as opposed to head on?
any advice is greatly appreciated
Maybe I can get by without a flash with a fast lens...maybe my 50,, 1.8 and i can set the iso at 400-800...what do you think?
