Haven't posted for a while due to work pressures - here's a couple of a Northern Shoveler and Northern Pintail taken this fall.
Thanks for looking and C&C welcome as always.

Two beautiful birds very beautifully captured. Great colors in both shots and wonderful reflection in the Pintail image.

Good focus on the ducks and yes the reflection of the pintail duck is excellent. Fantastic colours on the shoveler, great shots Stan, well done.

Very nice images.
I love looking at the Shovelers. They are so colorful and have such an interesting bill.
#2 is simply exquisite.
Well done.

Love the pintail... but the shoveler is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overdone imho. Too saturaded, too much contrast and the colors are enhanced too much.

Thanks Tomcio for the comment and critique - it was a pretty flat day, and I think that I may have boosted the contrast too much which oversaturated the colours since I did not enhance the saturation at all. I have reduced the contrast which helped desaturate the colours.

Great great captures. The first looks like an explosion in a paint factory! #2 is so handsome - super sharp.
