A few assorted images I took in Atak the previous month.
The Light tech was prepering for hibernation or so, so a lot of these were shot at ISO 3200....

1: Starting off with Elle Bandita (http://www.ellebandita.com/index.html). Still at ISO 1600. But pushing my luck here...

2: The drummer of Feverdream (http://www.feverdream.nl/main.php?subject=news)

3: The Singer of Feverdream. ISO 3200 here we go:

4: Both 'bands' together fooling around: (ISO 800, but noise added)

5: DJ at 'RawPikzl (http://www.rawpikzl.com/)' festival. 1/30; f/1.8 at ISO 3200 ....

6: Another artist at 'RawPikzl'. 1/3 stop more light. Jay!:

7: Goa party. Mostly 'lit' by blacklights. Lots of smoke and high contrasts.... 1/30 f/2.8 at ISO 1600 to avoid blowing highlights. Shadows pulled up by about 1,5 stop in post.

8: Goa Party: 1/13; f/2.5 ISO 3200. Same as above. Gets the atmosphere across...

Welcome to my world Rene - I shoot a lot of stuff at 1600/3200.

Some nice composition but I am thinking you should be able to clean up the noise a bit better. Are you using Noise Ninja or any other noise removal software?

Hmm. I really quite like that first shot and I don't think the noise really detracts from it, it somehow suits her look...

Thanks all.
Most of these already had some noise reduction applied. Some had a bit of Despecle and NeatImage as well.... I'm not too bothered by noise, and don't like 'overly smooth' images.
