Snapped today in the Gareloch. Losts of unusual ships about recently as they take part in Neptune Warrier 06

What a great backdrop to shoot her against ! nice to see one of the navys "unsung" heroes.

Royal Fleet Auxillary (RFA). Fort George is a fleet replenishment vessel that supports THE Royal Navy. She can refuel/resupply two ships at the same time either via ship to ship system amidships or via helo's operating from the rear deck.

I had popped out to see if any of the RFA's new Bay Class landing ship were about but they had both left the yard on the River Clyde
