View Full Version : uploading *.avi movies from PC to Powershot A70

Hi,

I'm having a problem with uploading movies to my camera. It is possible to download the movies (*.avi) to my PC, but I can't upload them back to my camera (Canon Powershot A70). Does anyone know if this is possible?

Sure, just use ZoomBrowser. There's an option in the menu to upload files to the camera.

Yes OK, but in my version of zoombrowser it is only possible to upload pictures to my camera and NO movies (*.avi). Maybe this is possible in a newer version of zoombrowser? I'm using zoombrowser 4.1.

Sorry, you're right :-(. But I tried to upload jpg's last weekend using a cardreader and discovered that when you maintain the canon mapping and filenames you can even upload scanned images onto a CF-card. The same should work with AVI's.

By the way, I just tried to upload the AVI to my flashcard using a cardreader and discovered you also need to copy the THM-file with it and it worked perfectly!! Good Luck! :D
