this happend last night. waiting for my monday afternoon appointment with the insurance company.
basically a honda slammed on the brakes infront of us. we hit the brakes, barely bumped the honda. would have been minor paint damage. and about a second after we hit the honda. the dodge truck slammed into the back end of the car without hitting the brakes. the insurance company says its 2 claims. claim 1 - us hitting the honda. claim 2 - the dodge hitting us. looks like claim us will be our fault. cause with ICBC if you rearend someone, your following to close. and looks like claim 2 will be the dodge's fault. we'll see what happens. but i am sore...

Well, you can always argue that the doge truck caused the major damage to the Honda and they will split the cost. You can most definitely fight this claim to at least ease up on the amount you have to pay.
