Thanks for the welcome. I used to shoot with a 10D, is this camera any better? The 10D broke so i ebayed it broke, and its been awhile since ive shot. I'm excited.

well i'm not terribly familiar with the 10D having never shot with it.. But, the XT did come out after it so i'm assuming there are some extra features... the real issue though is your glass... I'm a believer in a body is a body is a body... But, a lens makes the difference, so if your shooting with a 10D, XT, 5D or 1D and the same lens you're going to have similar results..

Also according to recent online polls, the black body also lasts longer, produces less noise, and extends your life expectancy.

I have shot with both cameras...the 10d and the XT, and I like them about the same. The only thing is that the XT is Much smaller, wierd to hold for me.
