I am in the process of making a slideshow of a wedding I shot, and it is currently nearly fifteen minutes long! It has 200+ images in it,which display for less than two seconds each. Add to this the transition times and the title/end slides and it is quite an epic. I took the shots and made it and even I`m bored of it by the end!
Anyway,- those of you who have made slideshows of weddings, with your experience, is this too long? There are a few shots i can cut but not many.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

It depends on the purpose of the slideshow, like a powerpoint presentation it's most powerful at less than 10 minutes.
However if it's for the purpose of proofing to a client (as I do) it should include all the images that you want to show. Typically mine run between 20 and 30 mins. The only point that they can get boring is during the formals, we try to break them up by interspersing some candids (taken during the formal shoot).
Although I tend to get bored after I've sat through them a couple of times, I have found the B&G can often sit through them for multiple viewings. Parties have been arranged where the showing of the DVD is the central point. Try not to include lots of gimmics, and vary the music so that it sets the mood for the various 'chapters'. I also break them up into chapters so that the B&G can skip through when choosing pic's.
