Or it may have been a nightmare. I put in an order for the f/4 70-200 non-IS from b&h a few days ago, and needless to say I've been pretty excited about finally getting to use it.

In my dream I had my f/4 already, and I was zooming in and out and everything was peachy. Then events took a turn for the worse. I tried to focus on an object and the AF was extremely noisy. Every time i tried to focus the AF creaked and groaned like the Quantaray I've been using for the past couple of months. Uch it was terrible, and then I woke up (not quite in a sweat, but disturbed).

Am I the only person who has had (embarrassingly enough) a lens-related dream? :eek:

I always tell my dad about my dreams of cameras, lenses, photographers, and pokemon.

I had a dream that I left my camera bag unattended for just a minute and someone stole my camera with the kit lens attached and replaced it with a crappy camera (it was harvest gold... must have been from the 70's!) but it had a 14mm f/2.8L attached to it... which is worth more than my camera and lens combined (and which I've been drooling over for some time!) So, what started out as a nightmare ended up a happy dream.

I wonder what that says about me? ???

Katherine Heigl, Angelina, uh..I'll stop there. Oh, and the 500 f/4L IS on a 1DMkIIN (the latter of which won't be a fantasy in a couple of days) ;-)
